These methods form an integrated practice that you can do to enhance your wellbeing for the rest of your life. They derive from the evidence-based HeartMath™ programmes as well as ancient self-cultivation practices (Zen, Yoga) and Aikido, a Japanese martial art of peace.
There will also be consultation, goal setting and coaching through difficult states and emotions, and through the challenges raised by the programme. You will receive recordings and materials to support you at home.

In the 1980s Gerald studied Aikido under the first British aikido chief instructor, and has taught aikido in London, Singapore, and New Zealand. He has also taught Yoga since 2000, has lectured in Yoga philosophy and practice to tertiary-level yoga and natural health students, and has run stress management and resilience workshops for the public and for corporations.
Gerald has trained as an Ayurvedic Practitioner, and practised with cancer and other serious illness patients alongside David Holden and his team. He was Chairman of the Natural Health Council, and executive board member of Natural Health Practitioners NZ for several years. In these roles he liaised with the media and the Ministry of Health to gain more acceptance for the implementation of Integrative Healthcare in New Zealand.
After three years study at AUT, Gerald gained his Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science in 2014, specialising in Mindbody Healthcare.
He is now studying to become a Certified HeartMath™ health professional.
