Holden HealthCare (HHC) was set up by David Holden in 1997 when he started specialising in Naturopathic Oncology and Hard-to-Treat cases coupled with his professional colleague and business associate Marion Stobie. Originally named OSIRIS Health in Mt Eden Auckland in 1986, David moved to the North Shore in 1998 after a 2-year sabbatical in the US where he did extra training for 2 years in Naturopathic Oncology & advanced Naturopathic Medicine. He benefited from mentorships with Dr Bernard Jensen, DO, ND, PhD and Dr Gary Gordon, MD and Dr Christopher Hills, MS, PhD in the USA between 1994-6.
Over the years David’s work has become more Holistic with a recognition of the importance of Mental and Emotional health as an integral part of the healing process. Thought leaders like Dr David Duggan, ND; Dr Brian Murray, ND, DO, PhD; Dr Deepak Chopra, MD; Dr Bruce Lipton, PhD; Dr Joseph Mercola, DO; Professor Martin Pall, MD, PhD & Dr Rashid Buttar, DO have all been strong influences.
For this reason, David has always worked collaboratively with other highly trained and seasoned professionals that have dovetailing skill sets that always complement his treatments and his Holistic Team approach to HealthCare.
The priority is putting the patient’s needs first taking into account their Spiritual, mental, emotional, financial & physical constraints.
We prefer that patients with serious illness like cancer, CVD, diabetes or arthritis to name a few, come with a support person on their first visit with a fully charged recording device to capture the consultations key points.
One of the reasons we have extended sessions of 90-120 minutes for first time patients is to get to know you better and help on your individual healing journey.
